Tropical Storm Isaias No Longer Threat To Chatham County

As of 5pm on August 3, 2020, Chatham County is no longer in a Tropical Storm Warning and Isaias is no longer a threat to our area.

Tropical Storm Isaias rain bands have arrived in Chatham County. We will continue to see rain and winds over the next several hours. We anticipate that weather should clear up by late afternoon. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to the CEMA office at 912-201-4500.

Tropical Storm Isaias is expected to impact Chatham County today. Impacts are expected to be 10-20 mph winds with gusts up to 30 mph on the coast. Rainfall totals are currently estimated to be 1-2". A Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect for all of Chatham County.
